What Pee Means To Me ;-)…not what you expect

Today we are going to open with a brief game. Don’t be a party pooper and sit out ;-(.

Having lived in Brazil for 9 years and South Korea for 1 year I am going with…Pee…it’s Korean…it means blood. Makes me smile that Pee means something else in another language, yes, juvenile lol.

Any way, what is your favorite foreign word? Reply and let me know.

Alright, fun and game a side I would like to talk about The Law of Energy Balance.

Remember last weeks story about me buying my awesome Hex Bar and how it is important to know how much money or calories you have in your bank? This reinforces that idea.

The Law of Energy Balance is pretty simple.

To lose weight, you need to consume less calories or burn more calories than your body needs.

To gain weight, you need to consume more calories or burn less calories than your body needs.

What this first law means in a nutshell.

First, regardless of how healthy you eat, if you eat too much of a good thing you will gain weight. Although this is unlikely, it is possible. Especially with peanut butter, which is unfortunate because I love it. So, if you over eat broccoli, you will store extra calories as fat and gain weight…although unlikely…that would be a lot of broccoli.

Second, this also means it really doesn’t matter what “diet” you are on, Keto, low fat, intermediate fasting, South Beach, etc… You know what they all have in common? Ways or hacks for you to eat less calories. The diet isn’t magical, consuming of less food is the magic part ;-)!

Lastly, there is not a diet where you can eat all you want and lose weight, IT DOES NOT EXIST! I wish there was.

What the second law means in nutshell.

First, even if you eat junk food, like Reese’s (which is actually health food since it has peanut butter…ok not really but I LOVE REESE’S!) or Snickers, but you eat less calories than your body needs you will lose weight. Yes, crazy I know.

Second, just because you can doesn’t mean you should! If you want to look and feel your best the quality of calories you eat does matter.

Next week I will talk about portion control ;-),

Go be awesome!

KELLEN LAKE – Remember, tell me what is your favorite foreign word is and why?

PS – I have just released my, “Better Booty, Tighter Tummy 12 Week Online Program.” It is $12.50 a week for the first 19 clients, click here for more information. I will be creating an ad for Facebook this weekend, so don’t wait until the program fills up.
