20 Minutes A Day Can Make ALL The Difference

Good Morning and welcome to another AWESOME WEEK!

This week we have another awesome challenge inspired from my no napping children and one of my awesome clients named Terri…20 Minute Fresh Air Challenge!

I want to challenge you to get outside for at least 20 minutes every day this week. Terri is a busy manager and yet she still amazes me and goes walking for 20 minutes during her lunch breaks.

In a perfect world I would like you to spend those 20 minutes walking or…mowing my grass…any takers lol?  

As for me, I will most likely be spending my 20 minutes outside in the pool being harassed by my children.

We all get bombarded and hear a ton about high-intensity training and metabolic conditioning. I personally love the stuff, but there is nothing wrong with a little walk or swim. I am not saying one replaces the other. What I am saying is walking for 20 minutes after dinner is much better than sitting around and binge watching TV.

Going outside, even if it is just for 20 minutes has been shown to improve your mood, reduce your stress, and lower your blood pressure. Those are all true wins! Plus, if you turn up the intensity on the hills you will even get some cardio.

Walking and being active outside has also shown to help battle cancer and prevent weight gain.

Lastly! The BEST benefit is it gets you and I away from technology and lets us clear our heads and unwind.
