Crazy busy and want to burn 100 calories FAST to keep losing body fat?

Listen, we have all had days where we are simply to busy to bust out our normal workout. Maybe you are traveling, maybe you are stuck in meetings all day, or maybe something out of your control came up.

Here’s the point, when a situations robs you of your workout and you only have minutes to burn 100 calories or so here are some of the fastest and simplest ways to do it.

10 Ways to Burn OFF 100 Calories

  • My favorite – Mowing the lawn with a good old push mower. On average it will only take you 14 minutes to burn 100 calories, plus you will make your yard pretty ;-).
  • Have a wood stove? Chopping wood will only take 4 minutes…
  • Go to the pool – Swimming laps will only take about 13 minutes.
  • My least favorite – Vacuuming….yep vacuuming will burn 100 calories in about 26 minutes.
  • Walking – If you walk at a 4 mph pace it will only take about 20 minutes.
  • Body weight exercises – Spend 15 minutes doing air squats, jumping jacks, burpees, lunges, etc…you will likely burn more than 100 if you keep the intensity up.
  • Gardening – Raking leaves will take about 19 minutes, digging dirt will take 15ish, and pulling weeds will take about 18.
  • Ride an assault bike or stationary bike – Going at 20 mph will take about 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Run – yep, a good old fashion run. If you run as fast as you can it will take about 6 minutes.
  • Stairs – Have a break at work? Go up and down the stairs for about 13 minutes.

 

Short and sweet! So, if you don’t have time to get your usual workout try one of the above.
