Name five things about yourself that you appreciate!
All right, this week’s challenges is list five things about yourself that you appreciate.
Did this automatically make you uncomfortable? I assume it did, lol. The good news is, you’re not alone. Hopefully, if you follow my guidance, we’re going to turn this around this week.
Your task, is to write 5 things that you appreciate about yourself each and every day of this week :-).
To make it even more fun/slash challenging, they need to be different things each day. I know, that makes it so much harder….but, you totally got this :-).
Why are we doing this challenge?
Truth be told, I work with a lot of clients who are super hard on themselves and don’t give themselves enough credit. Here’s the thing, you all are AMAZING and I want you to get that and believe it. Why? Because it’s true!
As I said, take some time this week and think about the things that you appreciate about yourself.
The list of things that you admire about yourself can be almost anything.
For example, perhaps you’re proud of yourself that you’re following through on your fitness goals, that you work extra hard at work, or that you’re a great parent or spouse. Shoot, maybe you’re a great hostess, a great dancer, or you were good at remembering to send cards, or your singing is fantastic in the shower. Maybe, you even hold the door for others or you volunteer at the school.
The point is, it can pretty much be anything you appreciate about yourself.
Here’s the kicker, This isn’t just a feel-good exercise comment it will help improve your self-esteem, which will make you take care better care of yourself, which will improve your well-being and health.
