Sorry, had to get my Make-up done!
Today I was going to write a mind blowing post but…my daughter Kenna asked if I could play make-up with her instead. I couldn’t say no, so this going to be short.
Kenna is super excited about her toy make up bag and accessories because she earned them. Kenna was a thumb sucker and she needed to break that habit. So my AMAZING and stunning wife took Kenna toy shopping about 4 month ago. Kenna picked out the make-up kit.
We told Kenna once she fill out a chart that documented the days she didn’t suck her thumb she would earn her make-up kit. Well good news! Yesterday was the day she earned it! I am super proud of her and as such I am going to go let her make me beautiful lol.
Having a goal and setting an unmovable date can be a powerful motivator. Rewarding yourself once you get to that benchmark is also very powerful. Plus, if you have accountability and documentation it can even be an enjoyable experience.
