Part 1: 3 Ways To Reach Your Weight Loss And Fitness Potential.

There is an intense desire within us. All of us feel in the depths of our soul we were meant for greatness! We just know its in there somewhere and we even have a desire to see it come to fruition.

So the question becomes, what is holding you back and keeping you from your weight loss and fitness potential? What is keeping you from greatness?

Cuz the truth of the matter is, there is great potential in each and everyone of us. Below are the three ways to reach your weight loss and fitness potential.

  1. Be humble
  2. Put down roots
  3. Protect your heart

First up, humility.  All-too-often we aren’t humble. Especially men, at least that is the case in my experience :-). Generally speaking, men become too prideful and arrogant to ask and seek help. However, regardless of gender, when we fail to be humble, we explicitly act and thing like we don’t need help. We think can do it on our own.

The truth of the matter, is at the beginning, it’s easy to be prideful. Especially, when things are easy and you are feeling motivated. But when the rubber hits the road and things start to become difficult and uncomfortable, once the new flashy sexy appeal starts to wear off, once it becomes a grind…you quit.

When the newness has vanished and it’s “Grind Time” you need someone to be there to keep you accountable and keep you going even when you don’t feel like it. You need someone telling you what to and how to do it. AND, most importantly, you must be humble enough and be willing to listen and accept their leadership and advice.

Being humble is not easy, but worth it! It helped be go from 308 lbs to 220 lbs.  Tomorrow we will dive into the second component…put down your roots.
