I have a crazy idea for this week’s challenge!
Let’s do our least favorite exercise every day ;-)! We will do it in a ladder fashion.
I think it is safe to say that everyone has an exercise that they just hate…. I know I do…Thrusters!
Most often the reason we hate a certain movement is because it highlights one or more of our weaknesses. Our “dreaded” movement generally highlights an area where we are extra weak or lack conditioning.
DISCLAIMER – If your hated movement causes actual pain DO NOT DO IT!
All that aside, it is time to get after. This is how it works ;-):
Choose your hated movement, for me it will be thrusters. Then on day 1, do 5 reps of that movement. Day 2, 20 reps of that movement, etc…basically it will look like this for me:
- Day 1 – 5 thrusters
- Day 2 – 10 thrusters
- Day 3 – 15 thrusters
- Day 4 – 20 thrusters
- Day 5 – 25 thrusters
- Day 6 – 30 thrusters
- Day 7 – 35 thrusters
If you get gassed…take a break between reps.
