Yes, you have tried, I have tried. The number of things we have tried to get from point A point A to point B is probably unmeasurable. The number is likely so high that we can’t even really get a concrete grasp on how big the number is.
The question is, why do you keep trying? I think most of us would say the reason why we keep trying is because we see the reward as immeasurably worthy.
Cognitively we know that whatever we are striving for, whatever we’re trying to do, is worth so much more than where we currently are.
Yes, you have failed, I have failed. But yet, we keep trying :-). Because, we know where we want to get to, is worth much more than where we currently are and how it makes us feel.
Think about that! If it wasn’t immensely important, you wouldn’t have tried so many times before, you know intrinsically that where you’re going, where you want to go is worth more than where you currently are.
So, I want to encourage you. No matter what, don’t stop trying.
I’ve said it before, you only fail if you stop trying.
I’ve already made the argument that cognitively you know where you want to go is better than where you currently are.
Keep that mindset! Keep that momentum! Keep Going!
Yes, I’m asking you to keep failing.
Honestly, I don’t like the word failing, but it goes with the quote from above.
But I like the idea of you continual effort forward! Keep trying, when you fall down, you get back up.
Life’s lessons are rarely taught by easy successes. Most of life’s best lessons…the ones that sticks…the ones that are worth it…are the ones you had to work and fail, fail and learn, learn and grow, and grow to earn.
In the same way, wherever it is your trying to go…IT IS WORTH IT…and… THE WORK AND EFFORT IS WORTH IT!
If not, you wouldn’t be investing your heart, soul, and might into it.
Lastly, fail better.
Grow from your mistakes, grow from the many times you have tried something new and discovered how to get from point A to point B.
In regards to fitness thousands and hundreds of people try to lose weight and look better and feel better. One of main problems is there is much noise in the industry. So are saying you need to do intermediate fasting, others are saying you need to do the Atkins diet, still some say you need to do Weight Watchers, others interval training, the next guru says you should only run,, the list can go on and on.
Almost anything will work as long as you have a plan and you stick to it and it’s sustainable.
That’s how I get my clients to be successful. I find out where they’re at. I discover what they’ve done in the past, what’s worked and what hasn’t.
I think create a customized plan to get them to where they want to go.
Sometimes we “fail” but together we learn from our mistakes and we try something new.
The point is, most people need a guide and someone to assist them to get them from point A to point B.
Don’t get upset and frustrated trying to do this on your own. Life was meant to be lived in community.
As always, go be awesome 🙂
