Crazy Intense Workouts are sexy…But getting actual results is even sexier…Don’t punish yourself!

Ok, so today I helped an awesome client move. But I didn’t have time to write a great post, so you are stuck with this : ).

The current fad, trend, whatever you want to call it is to do crazy intense workouts. Why? Duh! They are crazy and intense and will get some quick results, especially if you have never done anything before. Guess what? Anyone who goes from nothing to something will get results in the short term. True story. Anyone who chooses to eat less, than whatever they have been eating will lose some weight, in the short term.

The big problem is the crazy intense sexy workouts and diet plans aren’t sustainable for 90% of the population. As such, YOU, yes you need a smart nutrition plan, based on habit change, and a smart workout plan, based on getting you a little bit stronger each workout. Slow change, equals big sustained changes long term.

Numerous best-selling programs have participants to 4 hard workouts a week that last 60 to 90 minutes. That means in a month they will perform on average 20 crazy intense workouts, in two months 40, in three months 0! They quit, got hurt, lost motivation. Sound like you? It was me, until I released 90% of people would not get results that last with this kind of strategy.

You know what I tell people now? Every four weeks we will do:
Two hard workouts
Six medium workouts
Four easy workouts

If you are math person that is 60% fewer workouts and 90% less hard workouts. Plus, you get even better fat-loss results. All you have to do is #1, PLan (Food) and #2 show up and do the work and get a little bit stronger.
