Alrighty folks, it is holiday time! This is the era of cookies, eggnog (which, I think is gross), those spice latte thingies with pumpkin spice, and lots and lots of parties (which I love).
And, as you well know, this is also the time of year when people eat too much…including yours truly :-). And yes, everyone, or at least most people pay the price with a little bit snugger fitting jeans and maybe swollen bellies.
Here’s the thing, I suggest we help each other out this year by sharing some healthy recipes so that we can fight some of these cravings we have over the holidays. Now, I’m not a Nazi, I’m not saying we boycott everything delicious over the holidays. I’m definitely going to eat some delicious things over the holidays, mark my words.
But, I thought it would be cool, if we could find some substitutes for some our favorite holiday dishes. Shoot, even if we only saved 100 to 200 calories a day that would make a significant impact on our midlines.
As you may remember, I went on my Four-Week Holiday Dash to lose weight for Thanksgiving and I went from 228 to 215 in 4 weeks, click http://winstonsalem.justyoufitness.com/why-just-you/ to download my fat-loss guide.
There is almost exactly 4 weeks left till Christmas, as usual, I will do another Four-Week Holiday Dash. That’s my strategy, it doesn’t have to be yours, but that’s what works for me.
Anyway, here are a few ideas and links to help get you started.
To participate in this challenge, all you have to do is share a recipe below, or share link to something awesome.
As always…Go be awesome!
